Make them Fall in Love With You Now

In a world of photo shopped feeds, its easy to become influenced to believe that we need to be perfect to be loved. For a few years I almost fell into the era’s trap. I worked hard to have the right outfit, the glowing skin, and that perfect body, all the while being the easy going person who doesn’t make the final cut.

During this time I experienced many relationships with people but could not find out why sensual, spirit affirming love seemed beyond reach. After an ongoing cycle I began to question what was true.

I meditated and had a radical moment, that wasn’t in a book. I pushed myself and looked deep inside to illuminated limited beliefs.

There were three major steps in this journey.

Step One: Copy the trees.

Perfection is an illusion that does not exist in the real world. There is not a perfectly straight tree, No flower is symmetrical, so how could humans be perfect if we are a part of this world. Attempting to be “perfect” has us in a constant state of judgment towards ourselves. If we do not feel good enough just as we are, we unconsciously begin to prove, pretend, and drive by the belief that we are the most perfect version of ourselves, and then we will be loved.

The reality is very much the opposite.

Once you accept yourself for who you are and allow your irrational fears, and all your uniqueness to show you become very lovable. The yearning to show the whole complexity of who you are, the good and the bad creates an access point to your heart. People will love it. They might not be conscious to why they feel so good when you’re around but they will know that they love who they are when you’re around. When you give yourself permission to be vulnerable, you give them permission to do the same.

As the inner world changes so does the outside world around you. When you accept yourself with all of your perceived flaws and redirect all of your life force energy you can explore what you are really passionate about.

Step two: Be a Beginner

Acceptance sounds easy, but the perfection programming that has us in a constant state of judgment is a huge turn off. The energetic vibration of fear and self judgement is very dense in the way it blocks the light, fast frequency of creative passion that is the lifeline of the human experience and the secret to finding who you are and also having the courage to be that person.

You do not have to be perfect to speak truth. You need to be a beginner. The beginner isn’t suppose to know everything, so the beginner can never fail. The beginners mind has many possibilities the experts mind has few. Activities such as writing can help combat this, you’d be surprised by what pours out of you once you dismiss judgement. The creative passions, permissions, and purposes.

When you embrace authenticity you give yourself permission to pursue your passion and you no longer vibrate in need or lack. There is nothing more attractive than someone inspired by their own creations and at peace with the fact that they are not perfect.

Step Three: Become a Light

Planting the seeds of authenticity, integrity and vulnerability allows a mirror view of life. Don’t just accept yourself but genuinely like yourself. When you get inspired by your own life you lit up your own creations and it grounds you to believe in yourself, regardless of what everyone else is doing.
